There was a really similar Zara version of that in black earlier on in the summer. It sold out really quickly and I was stalking it on eBay but it was £££££

I really dislike a peplum.
I'm sure the Zara dress looks nice on someone, but I've seen it on a range of body shapes, sizes and ages, and every single one looked unflattered

As a stumpy-legged, long-waisted child of the 80s, I think they are great for creating the illusion of a shorter body/longer legs, but having said that, don't have a single one in my current wardrobe. Are they coming back? (I'd be quite pleased... )

I mostly dislike them at knee height or tagged onto the end of a midi or maxi skirt.

They are flounces, not peplums, surely?

I don't know what they're called, which is why I went for a divan ruffle. Like an overly fancy bed :))

I actually quite like it (and seem to be alone on this here :)) ) but fact it is everywhere it has really put me off.
I actually don’t actively dislike it either. It would look like a sack on me. Someone actually got married in it: https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/www.har ... tty-dress/

It falls in all the wrong places for me and I'm not a fan of a ruffle hem.

That green one looks much better to me - just a 70s style with a huge sun hat, or big knee length boots. It being white contributes a lot to the ugliness I think.

I also quite like the dress. It looks comfy :granny: It only really looks good on slim tall 20 somethings though.

You'd have to have been growing up in the 80s, I guess. I think I had just started work as florist in London, when that song came out. I adored all Joan Armatrading's songs. But, no, I hadn't ever looked at sack the stylist that way. May be I will now.

Our tutor gives us a different designer to look up each week. I got 'Comme des Garcons' this week: https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/spr ... llection#1. Clearly, I have no future in the fashion industry. I don't know where to start. :look:
