This styling makes me laugh. Apart from being a hideous top, she looks like she’s been put in a stress position.

She's probably being forced to wear that VILE top.

Those tops were popular circa 1975.

Everything about that is terrible  The weirdly long and stiff zip making the fabric sit strangely over the bust and all the wrinkles across the abdomen

Chris Packham has been wearing similar collared zip up tops on Spring Watch. S and I have been marvelling at his astonishing collection!

Technical tops often have extra-long zips so you can get them on over e.g. a snowboarding helmet, so maybe that’s why he has them :uhh:?

They are the really thin silly knit kind. Not technical.

Have you ever seen that Italian menswear shop round the back of Selfridges? They look like they might have come from there.

Silky knit. Not silly (although they are silly). I have often wondered who shops in there :)

Partner has a collection of similar tops. :ella: He's very into sixties menswear. You can't persuade him out of it.

Clarification : like Chris Packham's, not the germolene cycling top.

I know this is meant to be about clothes, but I had to share this with you: https://www.roche-bobois.com/fr-FR/prod ... 1_2-gauche

Why yes, I would love to pay over 11 thousand euros to have a giant jobby in my living room, thank you Roche Bobois!

It does look comfy though.

That needs a yellow cushion perched on it.
