You definitely need the dress for the full effect.

Those are lovely Liv, but it's hard to see when anyone would get the opportunity to anything like that anytime soon.

I'm really allured to this dress but still, definitely not so many opportunities to wear it at the moment!

That’s really nice emma. Such a lovely pool blue.

(I totally bought the beige top on the previous page. Squeak said it makes me look classy, and also like a Pippa.)

I know we’ve agreed that Boden Bretons aren’t all that, but this one is liquorice allsorts coloured.

Even that one isn't worth £32 though.

However, thanks to Pip I have just bough this dress. I've had it in my basket for ages but was waiting for a code and just saw they have 20% off.

I also have a £20 referral for a new customer, if anyone wants to try them (or use a new email address :shh: )

Probably; I'll check. Hold please, caller.

ETA: £80! Jog on! Obviously if you were planning a spree it's worth setting up a new email but that's really cheeky. (The referer minimum spend is £50.)

Mind you, my dress and your breton would be £92, so it's not that outrageous.

They’ve certainly got wise to their previously incredibly good deals.

I have a John Lewis voucher burning a hole. I'm considering putting it towards a classic nice coat in either navy, camel, aubergine, charcoal or an extremely bright colour. Is this silly though considering I basically don't go out at the moment and doubt I will be going out very much for the rest of the year to the rest of my life possibly? I have a very nice classic dove grey coat and a classic camel coat and about 4000 jackets.

I don't have a specific coat in mind as such although I will love a nice classic coat in any of the colours mentioned above but...actually I've answered my own question. A classic coat is a classic coat and they are not going to cease to exist. If life gets back to any kind of normal then there will be a coat and I can buy it and wear it in this mythical future.

Thanks, now to focus on immediate gratification. What can I get in JL?

What did you buy in the end Diccers? My friend was wearing this cardigan last night when we had supper and she looked *so* chic. I fear if I wore it I would look like one of the Muppets, but I can't stop thinking about it. You could buy it.

I did be worrying how that would wash, Lily. It's a lovely colour.

Bambs was eyeballing something similar in Toast yesterday. The child has very expensive tastes.

I always see people looking chic in cardigans, but only ever look like Queen Frump of Hag Town in them.

You did remind me I saw this on a mannequin in JL today and was very allured indeed even though I hate jumpsuits and it looks hideous here, plus it’s totally off season now. It just has that nice drapey fabric, POCKETS and it was styled with a denim jacket and gold accessories and looked great. Was I just blinded by the excitement of being in a shop again?

Eta oh it’s also £119 so it’s totally out of the question at the moment anyway!

Oh I love that Leap!

I do not love the cardigan, and you’d think I would in my line of work.

I love the jumpsuit. And I normally don't like them either!

Cardigans definitely seem to be coming back for a/w 2020.

I’d very much like this necklace but can not justify it.
