Look at your teeny feet! Thank you, I love them. And they will go with so much.

I need it my life. But it's very expensive. But it's beautiful. But very expensive.
Buy it! Life is too short not to buy beautiful things.
Unfortunately, my bank account is also mostly too short to enable me to buy beautiful things. But they have 20% off at the moment. If that's still going when I get paid, I might have to do it.
Unfortunately, I was not in time to get the 20% off. Fortunately, I just saw today that they had a special 30% off. So I bought my beautiful skirt!

Excellent work Zoom!

Are these dungarees cute and practical or appalling?

I went back and forth with dungarees last year Lily - I liked them on, but it really felt like quite a “statement” as I can’t carry them off in any way that doesn’t immediately scream children’s TV presenter. In the end I got a pair because I’m home so much and can pick and choose who sees me in them. They’re my go to for when I want to be slightly more dressed than loungewear, but don’t want a waistband :flirt:

I really had to see myself in them so it might be worth ordering just to see? Also mine are denim so the turtledove ones it might achieve a different look.

I'm not sure how practical they are as undoing them to go to the toilet would drive me mad.

They’re definitely much better in the warmer weather without a layer on top. The other day I went to use the loo and had a cardigan and a cross body bag on over them and was furious by the time I managed to get appropriately undressed  And yes, a balancing act in public toilets. I do obviously pee loads at the moment though and they’re still my favourite pair of trousers, although my issues with unpeeling skinny jeans are documented here - maybe I’d be less enamoured of them if I had found my mom jean moment, as I’ve been all about loose fitting things in the last 12ish months.

I have a pair of the Rita ones from Whistles and I love them. They’re definitely casual summer wear though with a vest or t-shirt underneath.

Is the crotch really low to avoid being sliced in two when crouching etc?

It’s not low but there is no slicing.

No, I think they’re fitted quite differently to e.g. a jumpsuit or playsuit, so there’s no risk of bisecting. When I was swithering last year I ordered a more fitted/skinny pair and the same was true, it was no worse or better than crouching in normal jeans.

I love those, and the Lucy and Yak ones. I’ve been thinking of getting some for ages, but I’d need to try them on because I suspect they’re not the most flattering thing in the world if you’re a shortarse. :))

Good to know my fashion sense isn't that off! I may try a couple of pairs.

I’m not sure about paperbag trousers and me. Or I need to find a suitable top. A vest just feels too pyjama like - what do you think?

Also with another top just to show. Loose enough so the trouser top doesn’t make it lumpy but it’s all just a bit floaty and huge.

I like them more with something tucked in, I'm not sure about that actual vest top though, bit PJs like you say.
