I had a vague impression they were oversized but the waist doesn't sound much bigger than other size 40 things I have from other brands.

They're 1m20 long IIRC, so yes, too long for me, but I'm fairly short of leg I think.

It's hard to tell from that photo but I don't think those trousers look like a big size 40, I think they look like quite a regular size 40.
It's been a while since I bought anything in Cos but I found its sizing to be variable, rather than consistently oversized. But as I say, it's been a long time.

I don't find Cos particularly oversized unless it's something that's designed to be. I find their waists quite small so if the measurements of the waist fit, the rest is likely to fit nicely

I’m watching Full Swing on Netflix and am wishing I was a Team USA Ryder Cup WAG as their matching outfits are so nice. I’ve tracked this one down and am pondering. It’s still quite $$$ but I think I’d wear it quite a lot.

I’ve found it with 30% off which is still $454. I’m kind of tempted though.

It is a great dress that would really suit you. Seeing it's Ralph Lauren, the quality will be good, so you can wear it for years to come.

I love a blue and white stripe. I had my stripey trousers on yesterday and my admin asked me if I was channelling my inner train driver.

I vote buy it

I’ve fallen for this honeysuckle print from Seasalt.

It's very Wimbledon to my mind so I think that can only be a good thing! It's lovely.

That is very you Pip and not dissimilar to a shirt you've already got? :)) Not that I'm policing purchases! Heck I've just bought a candle. Literally burning money.

I probably do. :)) I’m a shirt fan.

I really like the wide leg linen crop trousers that Erica Davies is wearing lots too. But the reviews on those suggest that they might be a bit long on me.

I had to google Erica Davies. :)) I don't do blogggers, vloggers, influencers, peoples on insta and shit so I never know who anyone is.

I decided against the Ralph Lauren dress. It was just too expensive. But I spotted this dress, jumper and skirt today and they’re on my birthday list. I love the fox print.

I saw a similar dress to the RL one and thought of you. But now I can’t remember where I saw it.

I think it was either Boden, or French Connection.
