There is no such thing as being too old for a cardigan. :ttth: any type of cardigan. SURELY.

We’re also not going very far right now. A fluffy cardi for mostly wearing in the house is essential.

I speak as a professional cardigan wearer.

I don't know how people wear blouses and nice tops if they don't have a cardy to pop on. How does one keep warm?

I don't know how to wear cardigans, I look ridiculous in them all.

I'm having a crisis of style in general these days. Even my loungewear displeases me. :(

I can't decide if I love it or think it's weird. I get the annoying sleeve thing if it was to be worn with a coat, but it looks snuggly so I think I'd wear it inside mostly for extra warmth.

I like it. The bottom button undone makes it look like it doesn't fit though. It should be done up.

Sainsos did that skirt with rainbow stripes rather than spots last year. I missed out but then found one half price in the sale :bel: I love it, so hope you find one, Pip.

I know, especially as in some respects it's a bit grannyish  But I think I'd need to wear it with something "fashionable" to counteract that at my advanced age. Good point about the sleeves under a coat, although I do have a coat I love with very wide sleeves :puzz: My most recent cardigan is a longer belted one which is really warm but does unfortunately stray a little into dressing gown territory. I am partly attracted to this blouse-y one because it's just wool and alpaca and not too expensive - even by increasing my budget quite a bit I've not seen anything I like with no artificial fibres - most of them seem to have wider bodies but really narrow sleeves and I will be wearing long sleeves underneath.

I'll get it - at least to try, postage is free ATM.

Pfft. I have a big sleeve cardigan and I am more than happy to look like a cosy grandma in it. :flirt: I also helpfully keep dipping the sleeves in soup etc. Absolutely cannot think why I am not massively selling this to you.

I’ve got two huge jumpers with massive comedy sleeves, and I also dip them in EVERYTHING  :ruby:. Do not wear for doing the washing up.

Continuing a mild obsession with pleather trousers. I think I want these. The charity shop ones I bought got binned.

My leggings arrived. They’re a bit baggy at the knee but so so comfy.

I did not!

So... I bought them in warmer weather and had a total Ross from friends moment putting them on the for first time. I only got them up 2/3 of the way, gave up and decided to return. Forgot about them for a few weeks, eventually retried and now I love them.

They are SO flattering and comfortable and I’ve had loads of compliments on them.

TLDR: I love them.

I have now had a look at those Spanx leggings and wonder if I need them. I have a good 9 months to decide though as I expect I would expire if I tried to wear them in the warmer months.
