I keep toying with the idea of a pair of Crocs for the garden but then I remember they repulse me. I do need something easy to slip on and off though.
I've got some of those 'back door' gardening shoes which are basically crocs but without holes in them, and they are really convenient for the garden. Obviously I do also wear them with a pair of calf length socks and prance about on a bar too
I'm off to build a bar

That may be true. But absolutely no one pulls them off as a fashion statement

My stealth-Crocs died last year and I need something new that works as well.

I'll be grand. It is fine to leave home and travel to provide care to a vulnerable person.

We're only taking the piss because she's usually so beautifully tasteful.

If you have a garden, you need a pair of crocs by the back door. Mine are as old as Squeak. Older really, I had to buy them when pregnant because my feet swelled so much on holiday.

Then, perhaps, it is us who are wrong. :ballet:

Seriously, I need Crocs to be rehabilitated, because they are so comfortable.

I was thinking the other day, as I slipped out of my day pyjamas and into my night ones, how amazing it would be if only comfortable clothes were fashionable.

I have an old battered pair of Super Birkies by my back door, along with a pair of fake crocs and old Birkenstock sandals. We all wear them interchangeably.

I am living in smocks again this summer. I use the "I'm a therapist" excuse to wear linen bags.

I'm just really leaning into the whole middle-aged woman aesthetic.

To be fair Crocs are the most comfortable things in the world. And I'm not wearing tights ever again. We are imprisoned by fashion.
