My 6 year old adores crocs and would wear them every day but he's a child so gets away with it. Crocs are not for adults unless you're in the garden I suppose.

My mum had the most hideous pair of clogs by the back door for garden stuff only, and they were so great I find myself wishing for my own pair all the time these days. I thought I’d have to find one of those freebie catalogues that sell garden kneelers and beige trousers with elasticated waists, but of course Crocs are the answer I tried searching clogs on eBay and all the first million results are just Crocalikes anyway.

C has also said Crocs are a divorceable offence, which will make it extra joyful on the day I inevitably find him shuffling into them in a pinch. My top memory of The Mum Clogs is my brother loping around in them, size 13 feet stuffed into brown mules like the world’s ugliest sister
