This is the dress that's winking at me:

Well. I tried some on once in Warehouse or Oasis or something and from one angle they were mega flattering and the other angle AWFUL. I've kept an eye out since.

I love the sailor style trousers. I used to have a navy pair from M&S years ago that I really liked wearing.

That dress is very you, emma.

I really want some trousers that aren't a. jeans or b. slightly cropped tailored. Literally everything I own falls into those categories.

Jack would love that. Would go well with his Wild Man of the Woods look. If that's the look you're also going for, Pip, you're sorted.

You know, I had a weird dull lower abdomen sensation yesterday & needed a hwb even though I don’t really have cycles now.

I will Think On.

I’ve just bought these trousers from M&S and they are such a handy casual alternative to jeans, I can see me wearing them loads. I bought the green, I’m thinking about buying the other colours now too.

I have been having my usual spring/autumn lightweight coat dilemma, made worse by the fact that I'm wearing much more casual clothes now for the school run etc, and so have ordered this to see what it's like. I'm hoping the drawstring stops it from being too swamping.

I really like that, Liv. I’ve worked from home for almost four years and still haven’t figured out how to dress. I find smart dressing so much easier.

I'm very allured to White Company's new dresses. However I'm not allured to the prices. Have they suddenly increased? £129 for a cotton dress?

That is gorgeous, but it’d be £12.99 in Primark. There has to be a happy medium somewhere.

Aye, it seems madness. It will be too long in length and too tight round the ribs so I have mentally said goodbye to it.
