I prefer them with the tucked in vest too. They look really good.

I like the trousers but something with buttons tucked in would make it less pajamas.

Thanks! I tried with the only shirt like thing I have but it’s a bit blousy.

The vest looks mildly better with a short cardigan so I’ll probably just wear this outfit at home. :))

The short cardigan does look good. I really like paperbag style skirts/shorts/trousers but I can't wear them. I'm too short-waisted.

I can't wear them either (as I have no discernable waist line) but they look great on WJ, I like the sweat shirt tucked in and belted look as well and the shirt cardigan/tucked in cardigan as well.

I bought a navy pair in a clearance sale recently, on the basis they’d be good for more relaxed return-to-the-office-wear but hadn’t a clue what to wear them with, so these posts have been very helpful thanks Wendy!

I like the cardigan with the trousers too. I'm too big on the hips to look any good in them.

I have been thinking about this jacket for months. The drawstrings give it some shape and I adore the colour. But it's not practical is it; I ought to get khaki. (The jacket is washable)

If it's washable and you love it, why not stick with pink?

Because it's not sensible. :ella:

Does it look too boxy on my swimmers' shoulders? I'm thinking the waist nipping in balances that out. It's close-fitting, but long enough in the arm - the 14 hung on me a bit.

It looks fine on your shoulders. Why is it not sensible if it's washable? I don't geddit.

I don't buy light clothes really, mainly because I'm like sodding Pigpen and just seem to attract dirt. But thank you, I really like it and want to keep it so I will!

Just keep it. It will go with everything in the same way khaki would.

S bought me a blush pink winter coat and I love it! It’s dry clean only and I don’t have a pink coat lifestyle really but it’s still in great condition. A machine washable one should be fine :))

Is it the Baukjen Drake, Lily? I have the navy version, if so, and have worn it loads.

It is Liv - I'm going to try the next size up though as I can't really do it up without looking like a mental dentist & I'm going to try khaki again. Did you get your normal size?

My Gok friend has suggested I try this for a pink 'pop':
