Coat report for heebie;

It’s pretty well padded and lined so I do think it’ll be warm and it’s quite a nice shape, the hoods not one of those huge wide ones but does come up over and shelter my forehead (I hate those hoods which only cover half your head but I wouldn’t say it’s massively oversized)

My only concern is it fits well on the body but is quite tight across the shoulders, so I’m wondering if I shouldn’t have ordered a size up as typically I’ll have a jumper on underneath it.

Thank you. If I order one I'll size up as it will definitely be a coat for wearing during jumper weather.

Had a wander round the shops on Saturday and bought this.

And went a bit retro and bought myself a Gap jumper.

I'd be about 10? I had a Frankie Goes To Hollywood t-shirt that I wore with it.

I think the ones I had in the 80s, I teamed with a Minnie Mouse tee. And an unadorned lip.

Thanks for the suggestion, Hippy, but my coat arrived today and is just right, so I’ll quit while I’m ahead. It won’t do for arctic temperatures, but I just want it for your average drizzly day, which is about 285/365.
olive wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2020 2:06 pm Ella, I have a virtually identical running jacket which I also rarely run in so is more of a casual jacket and I love it. It’s so handy and gets a lot of compliments which is nice and unexpected for something so practical.
Hurrah, this is good to know, thanks.

There was an Orla Kiely stock sale on my high street this morning (emma_p, I thought of you :)) ) and I bought a cross-body bag, a shopper tote bag, a silk top and a jumper for £130 for all of them. Bargainous! :))

Here you go - top, jumper and two bags. I love the top, it will look good with jeans.
