Pretty bras

Post by Lily »

All my underwear is very utilitarian. I am not expecting anyone to see what's beneath my clothes but I do wear stuff which occasionally show my bra straps and I would like some bras which don't look like I'm into shibari for such occasions. I am 32DD/30E and find it a bit hard to find stuff like this, if possible at all. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Thank you.

I've always found Debenhams good for DD+ bras.

Try Freya ones on eBay, I think Pip put me on to them.

I've bought some etam underwear while I was on the continent and in sales had some shipped here. I really like it as a good combination of pretty, comfortable and not horrendously expensive. The sizings seem to fit me better than a lot of brands here for some reason

I liked the Elomi bras I got from an independent bra seller, not sure where you can get them online but it’s worth a search.

I like these, they are pretty. I found Freya bras too tight (I am a 34E) and Chantelle fit well but they are costly.

I have just ordered some Freya ones from eBay and two seconds later someone bought two of my Victoria's Secret ones. Bra-ma!

I like Freya too.

On a very different note, Tu (Sainsbury's) have stretchy cotton ones that are very comfortable and surprisingly supportive for around the house, and they are less than a tenner each.

They only seem to have grey ones online, but I got a couple of black ones in store.

I've got those as well, Morgs. They're for wearing in bed/in the house only but they're incredibly comfortable and they wash so well.

I really rate Freya bras as well. They tend to be quite functiknal but they're also pretty and they sell a lot of cotton bras too.

Thanks for the heads-up. I like those comfy looking ones for days when I don't really want to wear a bra!

According to my bra drawer I am 32DD/30E/32E so God knows what size I actually am. I normally get measured for every bra I buy so I'm a bit nervous about buying without someone checking the fit, especially as I was wearing the wrong size for years.

Get a tape measure and size yourself using the Boob or Bust website, it’s way more accurate than most high street measuring people anyway.

Bravissimo never measure, and their fits are always spot on. I've ordered some 30Es as well as 32DDs so we shall see. Good prices though!
