32DD on the button! So to speak. Thanks for the website info.

I’ve just used the boob or bust site and it puts me at a 32 F. I’ve always thought I was a 36 D, sometimes 34 D when I’ve lost a bit of weight. I’m confused. I’m sure a 32 will be too tight.

I've just tried it and it reckons 28H. Is that even a size :mog: ? I think my circulation would be cut off by a 28

Yeah, I tried it too and it reckoned 28G for me. I do wear a 30F/30G normally so it’s in the right ballpark. There’s just no way I could do up a 28 I don’t reckon.

I wear a 34DD so 28 is ludicrous, frankly.

Yeah, that’s a ridiculously big difference!

Beatrix wrote: Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:47 am I can’t remember if BoB give you a tight and comfort band measure. Mine was 30G (having always worn 34 or 36) but 32F feels better and ranges often include the size too so I don’t have to hunt too hard to find my size.

Smal - Is your band size 34 including the random 2 inches you add on? Because it’d make you more like a 30. Based on 28H that’d make you 30G/32F. Getting the right band size was revolutionary to me - bras fit better and my clothes looked better.
Yes, I just redid it a more 'traditional' way and it said to add 4 inches so that ended up as a 34 (which is what I was measured at before- tbf I think it was borderline 32/34 but I hate that back muffin top you get so often end up in the looser fit).

I might go and get remeasured somewhere. I haven't done it for ages. I just tried 3 different internet suggestions and it ranged from 28H to 34B

I would go to an actual shop as different brands can fit differently and also a person will give you advice about cup styles to go for or avoid. A specialist bra one, not a department store.

This is so true. I wore 34 for years and when I was first put in a 32 I freaked out about it being tight and bits of flubber popping out but they feel and fit so much better!

The ladies in my HoF are fantastic bra measurers, but I also recommend Bravissimo as above.

I need to go to Bravissimo really to be fitted. I did get done in a specialised lingerie shop recently and I was stood there telling her that the bra didn't fit properly but got so upset by the whole thing I ended up buying two bras anyway despite the fact the underwires didn't sit flat against my chest (and I couldn't really afford to do that so I've been wearing poor fitting bras since).

Cleo by Panache are my favourite. They're pretty and do that nice up and front type shape that isn't a Madonna boob or letting your boobs hang down.

Boob or Bust has ruined my life.

Buying pretty bras in France was hard enough when I thought I was 38B, but now that BoB has me at something completely different, it's turned into a bif of a nightmare.

I would like a bra I can wear under a white t-shirt, preferably unpadded.

This is exactly what I'm looking for, but it's a bit hideous, isn't it?

Does anyone know if that 'red bra under a white t-shirt' trick actually works? I don't own a red bra to try it.

I don't think it's hideous but nobody sees my underwear anymore.

I think it's pretty nice actually, although it'd have to fit perfectly with a strong edge like that on the cups.

Oh, the hideousness is a problem for me, not J. We're long past the sexy underwear stage.

See also: wearing socks and slippers. I just can't.

Anyway, I have bought a red bra, so we shall see.
