So sadly that dress had an elasticated waistband which made it ride up under my boobs and look six months pregnant. The material was so pretty so it's a shame. Anyway, I'd been thinking of ordering this: https://www.next.co.uk/style/st312389#627919 for a while for work. It looks really dull but is very flattering and cool and soft. I will wear colourful accessories and bright lipstick.

That’s very nice. What a shame about the other one. I’m still taking it as a win though.

I really like the last one, it looks cool and very Wimbledon suitable.

What a shame about the other one, it's a beautiful print.

I've just realised that our Wimbledon tickets are for THIS MONDAY :disco: We lucked out with the local ticket allocation in 2020 and we're finally actually going! (assuming noone gets covid in the meantime ;) )

I will be taking some photos for work while I'm there and the jewellery isn't confirmed but it's likely to be yellow gold, emerald, diamond and maybe amethyst/tanzanite. What ever I wear has to work with the bling, so I was thinking a simple navy dress might be good. I do have a few navy dresses that might work, but I'll have to try them on to see if I can still get in them

Do you think everyone else will be wearing floaty floral maxi dresses? I don't have much time to go shopping :panic: Help please!!

Also - is anyone else going this year?

I’m so tragic I’ve got pics of the dresses I’m considering wearing on my phone, from when I originally bought them. I think / hope they should all fit still (?)

The navy Cos one looks so chic on you, emma! Although, tbf, I bet you'd manage to make a plastic sack look chic. :))

I’m afraid it’s true.

Is the green one too on-the-nose for Wimbledon, or would it be a good backdrop for the jewellery *because* of that?

I love the green on you. What’s the weather forecast? I only ask as I find sleeves annoying when it’s really warm (though I am a very sweaty person :flirt: so that plays into it too)

Well this is Americans we're talking about so I don't think we need to worry about being too on-the-nose. In fact the LA studio are sending over samples of the new tennis bracelets they're launching later in the year so I can take photos of those while I'm there

I had a try on last night and can still get into all the dresses :perky:
