I wanted to try it on to see if it was itchy but never made it to a store. I might use my christmas windfall to buy it anyway. I really love the shape of it.

I think you should buy these things when you see them, and goodness knows you'll get plenty of wear out of it.

Ella's one? It is lovely and it's a shame it's only available in beige as I am not the kind of person who can wear anything so pale :))

I meant Ella’s, yes. I couldn’t wear it either, but that’s because I’d spill something down it in minutes.

It only “works” on me if I wear a white top under it.

I love that cardigan, Ella. It's not a colour I can ever ever wear but it is so beautiful.

I saw the navy knitted cardigan/coat I coveted on this thread last year, tried it on and bought it. Come on autumn 🍂

I would also really like some leather high top trainers, preferably tan & fur lined.

That’s gorgeous!

I was shopping on Friday and it still felt a bit inbetweeny in terms of what was on the racks. But that’s Leicester, and the city is a bit strange still, plus a huge number of the women there wear traditional Islamic dress. The benefit to that is that there’s always loads of stock in the Sainsburys near my work.

I like your quilted jacket. The pattern reminds me of fish (in a 60s stylised orla-esque good way!) and it's such a good colour.

I think that’s why I like it. I want to try it in store, but as above, Leicester city centre M&S is rubbish.

I think M&S is terrible for clothes in general, it seems to have pretty much moved online. Couldn’t find any school trousers in the whole of London for G to try in store at the beginning of August!

Thanks Emma! I should have added I need things nipped in at the waist as I'm as broad-shouldered as Atlas.
