I am still looking for dresses to wear with tights/leggings as apparently the ones I have are all the wrong shape. I wound up ordering this in both black and red

What’s given you the idea that your dresses are the wrong shape?

I’ve bought a handbag. I kept visiting it in the shop, so I’ve ordered it to collect tomorrow.

M&S! I decided against the black and the tan ones, but they have some lovely other colours too.

I'd like a decent evening party dress, but most of all I just want to see what a very expensive dress looks like when it's at a more affordable price. :))

I have a load of Phase Eight 'Becca' dresses which a dress consultant told me made me look even more broad-shouldered. But it's all summer clothes now so I doubt I'll be able to find anything anyway.

That bag is very on trend, Pip. I’ve seen it mentioned in a few magazines & fashion articles :))

I'm not as it's too small. Embarrassingly, my arms are too chunky for the sleeves FFS!

Oh no Lily! But I’m cross at the person who told you not to wear the dresses you have. Honestly your shoulders are lovely!

I have used the rainy Dungeness downtime to shop online and have bought another Bella Dahl bargain - a pale denim-y blue midi skirt. It’s beaten me home and was delivered today. Come on spring!

That's lovely, I wish I were so elegant as to wear something like that.

The lady was an image consultant and I asked her about looking less broad, and she said what I was wearing with batwing and full chest wasn't doing me any favours (in a nicer way). I did hope it nipped my waist in, but nope.

Terrible dressing room photo, but I discovered that what was missing from my wardrobe today was a cream vegan leather dress. It was $100 off and came home with me. I have no idea how to style it but it’s a great shape.

I'd be terrified of keeping a cream leather dress clean! Is vegan leather machine washable?

I keep seeing your bag everywhere Pip!

I'm interested in the image consultant Lily. Is it someone you know or was it a paid for service? S was at a 50th party recently (just at someone's house) and his friend turned up in a blue velvet jacket. It turns out he'd had an image consultant / closet organiser who rid of loads of his clothes and replaced them with their picks including the jacket. It boggled my brain a bit!
