I'm a rainbow obsessive and I'm not giving 'em up. I really like that style of skirt but can never find anything to wear on my top half with them.

H1ppychick wrote: Fri Jul 15, 2022 10:32 am I don't think it's a Pride skirt because a lot of the traditional rainbow colours are absent from the colour scheme.

I really resent the way that the T agenda is so at the forefront now that the Pride flag, for which the colours represented emotions and attitudes when it was just a rainbow, rather than stripes being representative of particular 'letters', now has that fuck-awful ugly chevron with the blue/white/pink bit taking up the most space demanding pride (hah!) of place.
All of this, and I'm with that Lazzo bird as well. C&A has a bunch of stuff in at the moment (like this https://www.c-and-a.com/de/de/shop/cloc ... -2185705/1) which I won't buy.

Buy the skirt pip.

Tucked in t-shirts and shell tops are my usual go to. I have too many pleated midi & midaxi skirts.

I like the sound of tucked in T-shirts! I need to find some plain ones. Maybe Uniqlo?

I really love the Weekday tees that I bought on purple_dress’s recommendation last year.

That skirt isn't rainbow nor pride flag to me. It does look lovely though.

I’ve been desperate for a sun hat* for ages, and I ordered this one in the sales. It’s turned up with a slightly wavy brim, which is a bummer, but the internet tells me I can iron it on a low setting, so I’ll try that first.

* not sure why a total shut-in needs a sun hat, but there we are.

That’s lovely. I’m sure ironing will do the trick.

A shut-in can still be stylish, Ella. :))

I've just bought another charity shop dress which I'm obsessed with and now I'll stop. Although I'll look up Weekday t-shirts, never heard of them. Ta Pip!

Charity shop shopping is brilliant though, and not the worst addiction to have.

This is lovely! It is giving me a Paul Smith vibe.

It's true, I've given up the crack, after all.

It is v. Paul Smith, hopefully at a lower price.

Which t-shirt should I be looking for? They have, like, 200 in the t-shirt and top section!

 The sandals are from Yours, and are already on my feet. Comfortable enough for a gentle stroll.

They look nice and comfy. I can't be doing with a paper thin sole, my spine won't take it.
