I’m 5ft 7 and it’s a really good length on me (not showing too much of mtn transparent legs!)

Margo, this is a personal question, so forgive me, but what happens when you wear trousers? :look:

Apricot has had a sale and I had my eye on these two so I snapped them up. I'm so pleased - they are excellent quality and fit really well. FINALLY some summer dresses suitable for work and being smartish. They are the perfect length.

Well a) isn't it uncomfortable and b) I would imagine you can't wear a pair more than once. Anyway, moving swiftly on...

Cerise, that came in 3 colours and I got another beige stripe one a few months ago. It is just PERFECT and I really hope they bring it back next year. I had no idea they did so many good clothes.

I bought a couple of cheap summer dresses from then at the start of the season and have accidentally bought a couple more (including the striped dress) just now. :))

Went shopping with my mum, which is always a bad idea because we convince each other to buy more stuff than we would do alone. I bought myself this dress with the budgies on it and my mum bought me the black dress as a belated birthday present.

I had to zoom in to see the budgies. I love the print!

I just bought this dress in an independent boutique in Belper. I thought I ought to patronise the whole town, not just the bookshop.

It’s a lovely heavy, hangy jersey. No pockets, but I did get 10% off because the top buttonhole needed a stitch in it, which I’ve just done.

The shop also sells One Hundred Stars kimonos & their other stuff. Did we know they’re doing shirts & dresses now? I got quite invested in the lady using the changing room ahead of me to buy one.

Love that dress Pip! In my mind I'm already pairing it with different types of footwear, cardis and tights! I've got autumn on my mind...

I got these Baukjen trousers on eBay. Their elasticated waist trews are the few which actually fit me. I love them but what should I wear with them please?

They’re nice, but are they definitely not pyjamas?

That comment has reminded me of the mum at my kids’ old school that used to wear a top to pick up that was definitely pyjamas (as I had the same set) :mog:

Apparently they are "pyjama style". :look:

Will I look like I'm wearing pyjamas? It is so hard to know what is fashionable/trendy/a good look and what is rubbish (if you're me).

Is the stripe olive green? Maybe a fitted olive t shirt and a necklace or statement earrings?
