I love the design inside (except for the snackies and the weird toilet-brush table in the bathroom, obviously). A pot of coffee on a cream ottoman, though! :panic:

I don’t mind new builds but I’d want my own plot of land for that money.

Not strange or really unusual but the description made me laugh.

It's a house, you're not announcing socialites at a debutante ball.

That wooden pantry bit of furniture is generally weird. The "Snackies" /vom/ drawer is the only sensible one, maybe at a stretch Breakfast, but deep drawers labeled Lunch and Dinner?!

I wonder why they didn't get a grey under-sink unit in the bathroom ?

Also, I really wanted to share with you guys an ad that popped up on my FB today for a perfectly ordinary two-bed "holiday villa" in the naturist part of Cap d'Agde. I couldn't share it because it was in a private group, but rest assured it had a jacuzzi and wipe-down seats. :vomit:

That Brighton flat- I’m confused. Is everything really that black and white and grey in real life? Or were the photos taken in b&w and something in each picture was colorised to make it “pop”?

The picture of the living room with This Morning on the telly suggests the former but my eyes refuse to believe it.

I’ve looked again and there’s a splash of green in the window so it really does look like that.

That apartment makes me want to cry.

Those pictures are heavily filtered/oversaturated. Why on earth do they think that looks good?

Yeah. I don't think that can be just what it actually looks like in real life because the tones are all wrong. I think it is monochrome in real life but they've also "stylised" the pictures for some godforsaken reason.

The particulars of this house are an interesting read! No internal viewings possible, cash buyers only (i.e. it’s unmortgageable) and sale is subject to negotiation with the “tenant”. Sounds like a derelict house with a squatter in situ.

There's a bit more information further down - sounds like an absolute can of worms!
16 Dean Court is being sold under the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection.

It has not been viewed by the auctioneers and no internal viewings will be possible.

Neither the auctioneers nor the Seller’s Solicitors know the names of the current occupants and/or the dates when they might have changed/commenced their occupation. However, the firm of enquiry agents the Seller’s Solicitors instructed to visit the premises in January 2020 reported that they had been told by one of the occupants that he had paid rent in cash directly to Annette Drummond-Rees, the property owner (allegedly based on what the tenants could afford). The Seller’s Solicitors do not know the amount or frequency of the alleged payments in cash.

The Seller’s Solicitors were advised that the occupant also told the enquiry agents in January 2020 that he did not have a written tenancy agreement but there was a verbal agreement with his landlady, Annette Drummond-Rees.

In 2020 there was a fire at the house which caused major damage to the garage at the property.
