Re: 2023 Home Renovations
It's still not quite 100% done (needs another coat of paint, sliding door keeps sticking etc) but it's been over a year in the making and is in full use as an office/guest overspill so I wanted to share my repurposed/built damp old falling down shed. Finally!

I love it
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I love the flooring! It looks very spacious too.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

Re: 2023 Home Renovations
Would anyone who’s had renovations done recently mind giving me an idea of the going rate for a plasterer? We need a fair amount of filling where the wall has been chased out for new electrics plus skimming the whole lot. It could be 3 days work and I have no idea what the daily rate for a plasterer is likely to be.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Mine is £160 to £200 a day depending on whether he brings his apprentice or not.

Re: 2023 Home Renovations
That sounds better than the “possibly £1350” we were quoted yesterday :)) (We have told him where to go).
