The loo is visible from the bed.

It's all very aesthetically pleasing but would best suit deaf exhibitionists with more money than sense. Imagine what else you could get for £750K!

I've stayed in a couple of hotels with setups like that. Distressing.

That outside bit is so odd. What would you ever do with it?
Its a very central Bath address, I guess that accounts for some of the price tag!

It still looks very much like a garage on the lower floor to me.

I think it's horrible. So much of it just looks like a corridor.

The light tracks on the ceiling caught my eye because they look so much like an up and over garage door track.ParisGal wrote:It still looks very much like a garage on the lower floor to me.

Is that giant tennis ball a chair?

I love that but I don't love the tennis ball chair or viewing someone on the loo whilst I'm in bed.

I think it's horrible too. :)) I thought the outside courtyard was a walk in shower room with glass ceiling at first! It's just so sterile and impractical.

Wow.
If only I didn't get sick on Regents Park boating pond! The location map is a tiny bit off though :))

I love all the Ibiza-style white-soft-furnishings-outside lounging area shots. Ideal for when it's pissing down yet again around the very damp waterways of the UK

They seem to be a bit confused about the difference between eight bedrooms and sleeps eight.

I think it's lovely - not sure on the price though - surely that is a rental price per week or something. Why would someone spend in excess of 3 million euro on the restoration of it and hen sell for £150K.

Bam!
Also, do Australians say meals room rather than dining, or does it mean something slightly different?

I wouldn't want to live there, but I think their kitsch aesthetic is pretty cool.
It reminds me a little bit of this house, in New Zealand, which was regarded as a cultural icon:

They've managed to make it look clean and quite airy which is quite a feat with that much clutter!

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Someone took the concept of a 'treehouse bed' and ran (a marathon) with it.
