I need a proper grow house like that. They're so cute. My sister has one and it's just lovely. I like how you can prop the tops open when it's warm.

We probably do have a Dobbies somewhere nearby. I'll probably make do with the temporary greenhouse this year though.

I love the Tea t'owl Chicky :)

I'm now after a bathroom mirror/ or cabinet thing and a chevron shower curtain in grey. I can't decide what colour to do the walls, yellow, grey or something else.

We got this outdoor picnic table (in dark grey) for S and his pals. It's going to double as an activity or drawing/painting table. It folds up flat and is pretty light (so will be easily portable to other people's houses). Daycare have the same ones and he likes them (and she sold it to me on it's foldable-ness and also her experience that when there are non fixed chairs the kids just mess about with them instead of sitting down  ). I think he thinks we've stolen it from daycare and keeps calling it 'Weeta's table'.

I have wanted a Tiffany style lamp for ages so the kids bought me this one for Mother's Day:

It is in the hallway so that it gives off a nice, welcoming glow when we enter the house, I like it a lot :))

pretty colours erimar, and such a thoughtful gift.

we did an ikea run last night to buy boring billy bookshelves and other dull bits plus this cabinet, which I'm hoping will be nice and a new home to drinks and glasses

it's feeling better this week squirrel, we've tidied up the flat a bit (although i'm about to post some pics which will show that to be only the smallest of claims!) and i'm trying to create some structure to my days so I don't just work and do chores. gorgeous weather is helping too - i'm sitting in the lounge with the balcony doors open, which feels very nice.

I really like that, Abs. I'm planning on doing the living-room white with white Hemnes shelving but that would look great in one of the alcoves to add a bit of colour.

I am fairly obsessed with that cabinet too. It's lovely and so cheerful and just the right shape and size for a bar cabinet with glasses and alcohol. Not that we drink a lot :uhh:

also not an alcoholic

I think d's going to build it tonight so I'll let you know what it's like. annoyingly the ikea we visited only had the beige versions built. there is a nice emerald green cupboard in the same range but I don't think we have a good space for it.

I love the yellow cabinet (and the green cupboard too). I wish I had room for either of them. Hope putting it together's not too stressful and it looks great. I think it'll really suit the space.

the yellow ikea cabinet is good apart from one thing - there is a gap between the two front doors of about 3-4mm. it's only noticeable where you can see the shelves and according to the instructions the door hinges should be adjustable to mend this, but we couldn't manage it last night. just need to fill it with stuff now!

oh lovely! My sis has an older one that's similar to it in bright red and the doors needed adjusting when we first put it together but it was fiddly to get just right.

We had a small but unexpected refund from the sale of our old flat this morning, and there is 10% off Kitchenaids at Selfridges at the moment, so I have just ordered this for delivery on Monday! (It's cream, not white.) Bargain!

Image

It comes with a free pasta maker (by redemption), allegedly worth £83 too!
