This tree in the lounge is amazing. But what is it?!

I did think they looked like bottles and jars. But why?

I love the circular cut out between the two living rooms too, a retro treat.

You can't beat a scalloped basin and decorated toilet seat can you?

I love the ball / room in the garden of Animal House.

Interesting mix of accessories in the tree-in-lounge house, gym ball and foot spa. I reckon an old lady has been invaded by her grown up grandchildren.

Many inspiring photos of brown carpets and corners here.

Brown carpets in the kitchen and bathroom! Pugh. I also like the random arty arrangement of the Hoover and legless therapy table.

Pugh!

The black window frames give it a sinister air as well.

Two adverts for the same dinky house showing what an impact furniture and decent pics can make. If it wasn't for the rug and the distinctive front of the house, they could easily look like two completely different places. One dingy and gloomy and cold, the other quite cosy if a bit old fashioned in places.

It irrationally annoys me that it's bloody Foxtons that have done a better job. :verm:

Gosh, that's amazing, isn't it? I wonder what happened to the furniture and bedclothes etc in the local EA photos, though. The lighting makes a huge difference, too... I think Foxtons have done something to the colour.

I reckon they've accentuated the "warm glow" from the lamps in the living room, at the very least.

I don't know, but I think it's given birth to all the mini-mes in the garden.

OK, so this isn't actually for sale, but this Airbnb entry has really amused me. If the owner was going for 'Urban Grit with Fuck All Else Information' as a look, they have certainly achieved it. I think they might have moved slightly when their profile picture was taken too :))

The supposed Air BnB owner is a Visual Artist and a Researcher doing a Masters in Art & Philosophy. Hmm. :puzz:

Hoxton may well be the single most overrated and overpriced place on the planet.
