It's like when folk used to shag pile the bathroom floor and extended the carpet up the sides of their baths

I like the grey box. It’s a nice neutral palate.

Marble like that is very on trend in the Million Dollar Listings I watch. Book-matched marble where it all joins together is even more desirable.

Have prioritised a holiday this year so it's not going anywhere until we've saved up some more money.
And Spectrum is remarkably tolerant of Ripley these days, won't play but will allow sniffing of noses.

Cross cat in pink carpet bath has just improved my day immeasurably, thank you. :))

I love that pink bath!

I saw quite a few newly rendered houses when I was looking. They seem to be quite popular in areas with a lot of bungalows that are trying to appeal to a different market. Some of them looked pretty good, I thought.

My new bathroom has some marble in it which I'm not that keen on. Especially since it isn't book-matched (I had never heard that term so thanks, Est!)

Nice pew. Because everyone needs a quick pray before they soak. ALSO so much space and one measly towel rail.

Mostly I look at that and think, if it doesn't have underfloor heating it must be FREEZING in Winter.

The pew, and the toadstool things just out of reach of the bath, so you couldn't even use them as a place to put your glasses or book or drink.

I've always coveted a big bathroom but so often people seem to lay them out so bizarrely! A pew would definitely not be on my bathroom go to list

I used to rent a house with a ridiculously large bathroom, it was weird as it only had a loo / bath / basin in it and then acres of floorspace. I always felt really exposed whilst sitting on the lav.

That thing is weird. It looks like it was the other way up once, before it sadly died.

I saw quite a few houses online with big bathrooms, mostly in terraced houses where the third bedroom had been turned into a bathroom. It's quite difficult to do it right, I think unless you put in a lot of storage or build in a cupboard.

Someone has posted this flat on a local FB page, describing it as "THE most stunning flat" It's certainly very nice (although a little bland) but it's a bit of a stretch to describe it as stunning. Plus who wants to look at themselves while sitting on the loo? :look:

That bathroom is confusing me. It's, as you say, very bland.
