I think I actually remember the initial thread :)) Mazel Tov TC, I hope you'll be very happy together.

Look at this magnificent beast :hbeat: It was the second thing I bought for the house*, back in January and J has just spent the afternoon hard at construction.

*First was the fire bowl :))

We're actually having quiche tonight in the end  And we're busy all day tomorrow, at friends for a bbq at their place on Monday, and busy all next weekend so it will have to wait til the one after and a planned all day bash. So...weather permitting steaks, burgers, sausages I should imagine. Oh, and some whole aubergines cooked slowly til they go soft and you can scoop out the insides and spread it on flatbread :hbeat:

Ah, I wondered if it was a double one! A friend of mine has a similar one, and loves it.

Oh that's cool! We just got rid of our gas grill and only use the charcoal now, but nice to have both options!

We got a new dining table and chairs recently. It was a big purchase for us, I am usually an if it ain't broke person but we've been playing Dungeons and Dragons online and our table just wasn't big enough  and the little round table we had been using was originally Mr J's parent's dining table. I think we mainly paid for the hefty metal legs on this, as the top isn't solid wood, but we figured if we ever want to we could get someone to make a hardwood top for it later.

Oh honestly Del, just have a weeknight bbq on the gas side. It's easier than firing up the oven!

I will Cos, but I just have to get a gas cannister first!

That looks really solid Jet, able to withstand any number of small boys :))

That’s a really lovely table, Jet!

And what a clever bbq having both charcoal and gas!

I was going to be nosy and ask why there were two lids and if we can see inside! But no need to now. Order your gas before you need it, Derek - there was a shortage last time we got some, especially if you don't have a cannister already to swap.

I like the live edge of the table, Jet. My dream table has a wavy live edge like that. I just need the kids to get to 16 or maybe have moved out before I can buy it :))

The wavy edge was one of my my main reasons to choosing it :) it's laminate and has a few chips already, but I figured getting a solid wood top made could be a once kids won't destroy it thing (though to be fair two of the tiny chips were Mr J  ).

Ooh, that’s a very fancy barbecue there Del!! And nice new dining suite, Jet.

I bought this today - it’s an upcycled trolley from an old 737. I not yet sure where it will go, as I have a few potential uses in mind (drinks trolley/bathroom towel storage/home office), but I love it. :))

I painted the feature wall in the bedroom. Yeah, it’s denim drift but I really like it :))
