From here, and reduced, so even better :)).

M&S have similar ones, too.

I love your choices and can't wait to see the room when it's finished!

Will do, Cos, and thanks, Five. I should have taken a before shot, as it was manky.

The shelving is supposed to be happening before Christmas, the curtains are due in a coupe of weeks, and after that I will be doing nothing for another 20 years :))

Lovely chairs. So that little console table extends to seat 12?

Yes, I was having trouble picturing the table as a dining table!

Yes. They are quite popular but I haven't seen one in real life, which is why I am a bit scared of it. There are lots available, from very cheap to ££££, so it was difficult to choose. The plan is for it to live as a console table, to give the room more space, and be pulled out by one leaf when we eat, and pulled out to bigger at Christmas and when we have people round, which is rare these days - we tend to go out rather than 'entertain'.

Unbelievably, I've just had an email to say that the one I've been waiting to come back in stock since bloody AUGUST is now available :verm: :verm: :verm:

It's a similar design concept, but a very different look. I'm thinking that the black one will look better - the oak one is quite orange - but I am now in a tizzy again.

I think I do too, Ken, now that I've got over the melamine hurdle. I was fixated on the orange one because I hadn't seen any others that would do the magic thing, but I think I've made the right choice :convincesself:

I have been on the list for notification that it was back in stock for absolutely ages, though, and the day I order a different one, this happens.

I think the orange one will clash with the chairs (which I also love). It's so annoying though!

It is. But also, since seeing it in the first place we've got oak LVT flooring and ordered walnut shelves, so another wood colour would be too much in a small room.

Your chairs are a lovely colour. I have the similar M&S ones in green, they are very comfortable.
