Is this too industrial? I really like it but it may not be to your taste. There's this one too.

Even if not, Etsy's worth a look.

I like them both, Rosa, but they wouldn't really fit the room. Yes, I'll have a look on Etsy. I tried there for lamp tables, but got nowhere, so I'll try again with telephone table. Who has a table for their phone nowadays? :))

I would put the dvds in a box in storage though ;) unless he watches them a lot.
I've tried, emma. Believe me I've tried. He does watch them, but I'm hoping that when he gets round to putting a TV in the massive space on my new bookcase ( :verm: ) he will realise he doesn't need them. Meanwhile, if they are out of sight in a storage thingy it will be better than having them in piles.

Yes that’s what I thought telephone tables were too :))

That one you linked to looked nice, I think.

Try googling “Apisdistra Stand” - I think that’s what tall plant stand used to be known as?

I'm tempted to this one. (the tall one). It's a quarter of the price of the one I found first, and it doesn't look very different, really.

I could put a plant on the shelf, as well as the lamp on the top. Maybe an aspidistra :))

S has been getting super sweaty in bed even with a light duvet so I bought her a wattle print sheet set today to see if that helps (she doesn’t like to be uncovered) I have paired it with a brown quilt throw I had lurking in the linen cupboard and it looks pretty.

That's so pretty, EST. I love floral sheets. I should buy myself some.

I bought this before Christmas to take to the new place. Now it's staying and I've put it up today

Is that embroidered, Marth?

I have ordered some things to help keep the house tidy after my declutter.

box for magazines and papers

and a bin[/url

and some baskets from the Amara sale

The temptation will be to use them all as doom containers, but the plan is to use the large one for a quick tidy up but empty it every Friday ready for the next week. I got a large one and two medium ones, and the large one is to sit at the side of the sofa and the smaller ones on a side table out of sight and house things like room sprays that I want to keep handy but not on display. We'll see how it works :)).

It is, Morgs.
I love a good storage option, but yes, no Doom Box additions! :))

I've been amassing old stuff. A neighbour was getting rid of the sewing box and I was really excited to see her message first!

I also bought this little old table from a charity shop in Poole last week. Look at the inside:  I really love small furniture that has storage built in.

Ooh, that's lovely.

What are you going to keep in the padded table? The sewing book is very stylish too. I have a similar one, but not as nice, and it has a huge stain on the top from a bottle of something that leaked onto it in a cupboard.

I might keep Scout in it :))

This sewing box could do with a sand. I've got one without a handle that I painted yellow, but I'm not sure what to do with this new one

I love that little table.

We have a new sofa. It's a bit taller than our last one so had to move over from under the stairs which meant we had to get rid of the computer desk but then I had a big gap and nowhere to put bits that we needed like chargers and the remotes.

So I got a side table. I'm not completely sure it's big enough but it'll do for now. Bob (the robovac) needs to go back under the sofa.

Looking at the photo, the sofa could move along but it just the angle.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.
