That's lovely! As are your chairs and table.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

That rug is amazing Del! I love it! I would also never eat any tomato-based dishes or curries at that table, for fear of spilling something and ruining it...

I'm so jealous of being able to have a rug under a dining table. Maybe I can, one day!

I tend to get food down my (substantial) frontage rather than it falling on the floor :)) I'm glad you like it, I spent long enough yearning after it!

It's unanimous - I love it too! My dining room is half sitting room, and the rug is in the half without the table, but I'm never sure if that really works, or just looks a bit small for the room. Yours looks perfect.

This is a weirdly satisfying purchase. I just bought 6 of these for Liv's wardrobe doors. - I'm hoping they'll look like jewels 💎 ✨

And the rug I've been coveting for my bedroom is finally in the sale so I've ordered that too. It's made from recycled plastic bottles :weewee:

The knobs look very pleasing. They’re like mini crystal balls.

I got this coat stand today.

Very nice, Diccy. I love that it has a stool so you can sit down to tie your shoes.

Oh. I could be wrong, but it looks like it's integrated. I think the stool would fall over otherwise :))

I've gone a bit mad and bought a picture I've had my eye on for some time. It's an original oil on canvas, and will look great above the large sofa in my sitting room (I hope!). I kept going back to look at it, but couldn't justify the spend, so messaged the artist and asked if he could negotiate, and he agreed :frolic:. I'm in the Lakes until mid November, so he's keeping it till we get back. I'm very excited. It's scary buying something like this without having seen it in person, but the website has a lot of close ups, and you can see the effects - it's as though you are looking through the water to the seaweed etc beneath. Th artist is Jamaican, and his pictures are inspired by the waters where he grew up.

That's beautiful, Morgs.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.
