Thanks Squirrel. I will have to enquire about how my decorator feels about colour matching - I suspect it will be too much of a faff for a job of this size (I am using a lot of F&B and Little Greene).

Check the sage green looks the right colour on the wall. I painted a small, windowless bathroom what I thought was a lovely gentle green once and it was like being inside a toothpaste tube

I am, as ever, a fan of dulux timeless for a not quite brilliant white. It seems to go with everything.

My decorator colour matched for my bathroom, and it's the size of a cupboard. It's worth asking!

I meant because I am having the whole house painted. I mean, he might be prepared to colour match everything, but I doubt it :))

Timeless is quite yellow/warm (I am looking at a piece of paper painted in Timeless right now) and I'm not sure it would go with the grey in the tiles.

I never buy F&B paint. My whole house is done in colour matched colours. 😂

I just ordered all my kitchen appliances apart from my sink (which I have chosen) and cooker hood (which I have not). I feel poorer.

The cooker hood is the hardest, most complicated element of this entire process so far. It's an absolute minefield

I’m seeing the house tomorrow for the first time since the work started :panic: I will report back.

It was impossible to get a photo of the kitchen (I have a video though) but it looks really good! And big :disco:

It was so weird - and dusty - seeing it all but I think it’s going to be good. I have just ordered carpet for upstairs and extravagant anthracite aluminium French doors and a window for the kitchen.

The outside is starting to take shape:

Also that pipe won’t be staying there :))

I did take other photos but they are not very good. I have a new wall between my kitchen and living room, and they’ve redone two walls in my bedroom.

The electrician was rewiring too. I’ve come back incredibly dusty and have just had to have another shower.

So exciting, nine! It's happening fast now.

I've just chosen carpet and flooring too. And yesterday I paid for some doors :clone:

I don't realise until I saw that photo that you weren't having a kitchen extension! It's crazy how just moving things around internally will make the house so much more usable!
