That dining room wallpaper would make me too nauseous to eat! Perhaps it's a cunning weight loss strategy.

That is horrible. In fact, every decorative feature is awful.

I love Poppy Cottage .

A skip and a good clear out would sort it out, and it could be gorgeous.

I've just had another look. Is there a row of mincing machines on the edge of the kitchen counter? (bottom right of the photo) They must use a lot of mince, if so.

I don't know what to say about this one. Fully refurbished, allegedly :woteva: , the rest is similarly cluttered.

What the devil's going on there? :mog: It's like someone threw a fresh, hideous blanket over a bed in one of those derelict, untouched buildings people like to break in and photograph.

In short there is nothing to be done to the property.
I'd love him to say that to my face while I'm standing in that living room :mog: (it's part of the description for Casa Antoinette.)

I always think places like that must belong to antique dealers who just can't help themselves from snapping up every bargain they come across. The kitchen in particular is cracking me up - at roof level alone you have a long antique rifle, a fake motorcycle, a clock, an ethnic spear, a picture of a chicken and then two historic personages. Random!

It's like one of those finding games we were all playing a couple of years ago .

It's another one that could be lovely if treated to Extreme House Clearance, though.

Yes I laughed at that too. Nothing other than hiring a very large skip

'Nothing to be done' sounds rather like a death sentence, doesn't it :))

I think it's a bust of a black person with a turban type thing on, which looks like it's in a cage but it's actually the pergola thingy behind it.

That overly decorated ornate style could just about work in a high ceilinged town house, but not in a old country house like that.

That outside bust thing is quite disconcerting.

I know it's the least of the house's decor problems but, seriously, A RUG IN FRONT OF THE OVEN AND HOB?! :panic:

The only saving grace for that property is that the vendors will take all their shit away when they leave. That too-short pelmet in the bedroom! Strip it back to bare bones and it will be lovely, though there doesn't seem to be any pictures of the bathrooms :suspicious:

Also, I love the autocorrect fail in the description - "there is simple off-road parking..."

Just checked out the selling history and this is what it previously looked like (when it was on the market in October 2014).
