The Ikea hackers website has loads of inspiration for that sort of thing. I love that website

I've had duvets with the holes too. While they're practical, I don't like the look of them either.

I have some damp issues in my bedroom (fnar) so it will need to be decorated. I have bought this to put up after we've finished.

It's in a box on the living room floor at the moment.

While Mr.T was in the hospice, in his room they had a really nice touch lamp. We liked it so much, I found it on Amazon and bought two as bedside lights, so I'm now going for a loose art deco type look. I've whittled the possible wallpapers down to one but haven't decided on the colour.

Here's the lamp.

I think that's where we started. I've never seen a hole-duvet thingy.

Lovely lampshade, Tsu.

I love that light shade tsu and might nick it for my bedroom. Not yours obv.

I wish one of you lot would come and interior design my completely white/beige house because I am so scared of stuff looking crap!

Right - this is what I've ordered today to be delivered when I move in. The kitchen is ALL WHITE so my chairs are coloured and every accessory I've bought so far is bright coloured.

I've bought beds with trundle beds for the kids rooms so we can have guests ie my niece/mother etc. The beds were a complete bargain at £126 each, not incl mattresses but I already have 2 mattresses so will buy another 2 cheap ones from somewhere (any recommendations??).

My bed - my current bed is too big and falls apart should more than one person get in it so I've ordered this grey one as my built in wardrobe doors are black with grey/silver flecks in it.

I like the big bed. I recently bought two mattresses from Mattressman. Do it through Quidco and you'll get cash back. They took my old one away for a small fee (£8 if I remember correctly).
