You push it down palm up and the soap comes through the top bit.

I like that clock.

I bought this as I've wanted a butter dish for ages. I know it's not pretty in the slightest but it's the same one that my gran had and it brings back nice memories. She had a cupboard full of all the retro crap you find on ebay and I wonder what happened to it all when her house was cleared out. Some of her dishes were from the war and had NAAFI stamped on the bottom.

and to lower the tone of the thread, I got this to prop the bathroom door open (our house is old and wonky and the bathroom door won't stay open on it's own and sometimes it needs to be open) I used to have a Tresemme shampoo bottle propping it open :shame:

I love the pattern on those Jet.

Double ha! I have a hideous owl that was a gift I can't bring myself to part with, in the bathroom door propping position. It is truly a thing of ugliness, whereas your cat is nice.

Jet those are lovely.

Eta: a picture. It's actually quite a lot worse IRL.

I had not heard of them, I was just browsing Fab.com for a cookie jar and came across them. I love them so much.

Do it, Squirrel! You now have a dog to blame it's demise on.

Awe. I like that Bramble. I bought a dog one last year for A, instead of an actual dog.
