How weird! You might find some others in your shipping container, I guess?
Thanks, all.

Re: Ideal Homes- Show Us Your New Purchases!
I ordered it ages ago so it is a bit weird. Yes! I never even got them out of the tube so it will be a lovely surprise when we unpack the shipping container.
I always get frames wrong! It’s the right size but I think I need to switch it to a thin black frame or wood. I might get it mounted too to hide the ABC bit at the top which is annoying me :rational: Soz for the reflecto too but I promise I'm fully dressed

Re: Ideal Homes- Show Us Your New Purchases!
I've just ordered some prints and frames from Desenio. I've been holding out for things I really love but am not finding anything and am fed up with bare walls. I like their stuff but it is very Insta and I'm worried I'll get bored of it quickly. Very reasonable frames though for anyone looking although I can't vouch for the quality.
I like your decoration, emma. I haven't done Christmas for the last couple of years but don't think I can avoid it this year (another thread, really) so may pick up a couple of things to show willing. I think that would look really nice hanging from a mantlepiece but I love anything you can hang from a door knob, cupboard handle.

I know what you mean about them being very insta, Toast. They have some nice stuff.
I have been putting pictures up for 2 days. For anyone considering any sort of gallery wall that requires measuring, please don't . I am pretty handy but what a total faff. I bought these from ebay and they come as a book which you just cut out and frame the ones you want. I'm pleased with them and glad to finally get them up after having them in a drawer for months!

They look lovely Mayday. I made A do something similar a few years ago on our landing and he didn’t enjoy the experience

Yes they are! My own cheaper gallery as buying the prints from Sketch when they had them up were about £3000 each I might have to change some of them when the small ones learn to read though

Those are amazing. I recently took down all our family photos on my higgedly “gallery” wall and made MrMcLip filly the holes and paint over them. I’ve been trying to decide how to rehang them ever since.

I love those, Mayday and Pov.
I have a higgedly gallery wall too which is definitely the easier option. I'm a bit over it now though but don't know what to do on that particular wall instead. It's quite neat (but not as neat as those above!) so I'm toying with the idea of just throwing a load more stuff up and seeing what that looks like. I guess I should check that I have some leftover hallway paint for the inevitable filling and re-painting first.

I had to move some of my plants in the summer so they would get more light and fashioned a shelf above the radiator in my kitchen where it was bright. Now the heating is on I needed to move them so bought this floating shelf for under another window in the kitchen.
I’m pleased with how it’s turned out.

I love the way that looks, Toast - the shelf, tiles, the little window. All of it!

We've got picture shelves. They are a so much easier if you have different sized frames.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

That looks super.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Thank you! I do love my little window.
The teeth were sent to me by a friend when I was feeling particularly low and they make me smile even though they’re quite ridiculous
