I really like that, Toast!

My mega mirror is finally on the wall, after being in the spare room for 9 months! It is huge and very heavy and MrM was a bit stumped how to fit it but we got there in the end. It is a bit too big if I am honest, but a nice statement for our hallway anyway

The shelf looks great, and I love the wall colour. I am thinking of similar for my bathroom. Do you know what shade/make it is?

The mirror looks great, Mayday!

Thank you!

It's Valspar paint and I had it matched to a Farrow and Ball shade. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but I have some leftover that's stored outside so I'll have a look for you tomorrow.

The mirror does look great.

The shade is Lamp Room Grey, Lora. I think it has slightly green undertones which is what I wanted but does look more grey in some lights. I think it would look lovely in a bathroom.

I didn't do the painting myself but the person who did wasn't a huge fan of the Valspar paint, saying he preferred Dulux, if that's helpful.

It’s a lovely colour.

I finally stayed up late enough to buy one of these, I wanted one for years. Mine will be a bit different. :fc: that it survives the shipping!

I did wonder about the vase you were staying up to buy! Is it being shipped a long way?

I love Lamp Room Grey, my friend has it in her lounge and it is beautiful. I have been using Johnstones paint recently, colour matched to F&B and have been really impressed.

New lamp. I think I probably need to show you in daylight because of the glare but I'm wondering what bulb to use. I'm currently just using the only largeish bulb I have on hand. I'm thinking a frosted one rather than clear but should I be considering a fancy filament one?

It’s so pretty. There’s a great hardware shop with every bulb imaginable next to the Gill Wing kitchen shop on Upper St.

Okay, fancy filament it is. Thank you.

It's from Oliver Boner, Mayday. I don't think you can tell from the picture but it's a very pale teal colour which is perfect with my teal sofas. I've been looking for a lamp for that corner for ages and although it's a bit bigger than I would have gone for, I think it works pretty well.

I always think of what Tabitha's dad called it - "knick-knacks for dickheads". [I love their stuff.]
