I also. Zirk already has a massive mug from the same range and it says Big Drink on it. I like it.

I’ve finally caved and ordered a tumble dryer which is arriving tomorrow :disco:. I could cry with relief.

We got back from holiday a week ago and I haven’t been able to catch up with all the washing, and now all the bedding and towels need doing too. I am going to tumble dry the entire universe and I CANNOT WAIT. (For anyone concerned about the environment , I am on a green energy plan :twitch: ).

Also, one of these will soon be mine :hbeat:. They are both non-stick, the stainless steel is £10 more than the aluminium. I think aluminium will be lighter, but is stainless steel otherwise better, is it worth the extra £10/heavier lifting?

I have all steel because of an induction hob, I’m not sure if it’s better otherwise.

It does say that the ss one is “extra thick” vs “thick” :puzz:.

Looks-wise I like the one on the left more, but that’s not very helpful, is it?

Congratulations on your tumble dryer! You won’t regret it.

Do you like your induction hob, Pip? I've ordered one for my kitchen makeover. I wanted one last time but couldn't have it over my double built-under oven. This time, I'm jiggling the layout so I can have the induction hob.

Oh, I had no idea I have been limiting my pan options!

I love the induction hob Tsu. Rapid boil, and really responsive to changes in the temperature are great, plus being able to put hot pans on it from the oven & it being easy to clean. I don’t miss gas.

Not Pip but I love mine, it’s easy to adjust the temperature, things bubble evenly and I love that it’s so easy to clean. I’m definitely a convert. ETA: and as Pip says it’s so quick to bring things up to boil.

BUT, one thing I don’t like about it that wasn’t mentioned in reviews, is that I can’t turn one ring off without pressing and holding the button down. The settings go from 1-9, so if something is cooking at 8, I either have to press and hold it until it counts all the way back down to zero, or turn the whole hob off including the other rings. I’ve explained badly, but I really hate this! So if I was buying again, I’d look for one that I could turn the rings off individually.
ETA: it’s a Neff so if this is likely to annoy you, don’t get one of those!

I like mine too (although I did have to replace all my much loved old pans which weren't induction friendly).

Mine doesn’t do that, but I’m constantly pressing the timer button instead of the b and it does love to beep when I wipe it down and flash an error until I flick it off at the wall.

Good tip, squirrel. The one I have ordered is an AEG. It was a Which best buy and not too pricey.

That sounds excellent. I chose mine to match the oven :ella: because I’m a wanker.

I'm an expert on ovens having read several hundred item descriptions and a million customer reviews. As a result, my oven budget doubled. I think I must join you in wankers corner.
