Ooh Heebie, that’s lovely!

I have various versions of sunburst clocks in my storage, each awaiting restoration. I did one and sold it straight away. They’re terribly popular :)

I love them so much. I'm also getting an Ercol sofa from my aunt and uncle who are downsizing, and possibly also an armchair and/or footstool. They originally belonged to my parents when they first got married and will need to be reupholstered but that's even more exciting as I will be able to choose the fabric :disco:

I love the clock and the chair, Heebie. How lovely to have the sofa and/or footstool too.

Ooh, I can't wait to see the Ercol pieces once reupholstered!

S and I went to the Paula Rego exhibition at Tate Britain a little while ago, and he fell in love with The Dance. I ordered a small custom framed print for his birthday (which was yesterday, but annoyingly it didn't arrive until today!). He doesn't know I bought it for him and probably thinks I was a bit tight with gifts. Anyway, I've hung it in the corner of the sitting room and I think it looks good there. However, his powers of observation are so poor I predict a week before he notices.

I love that Rosa. I went also, and was so blown away by the astuteness of the expressions on the faces she paints. Sideways glances, hooded looks, knowing looks. Really so amazingly well observed.

The colours of the two prints look great together.

I'm coveting your blinds again too, they are so lovely :)) - are they the JL ones?

She's amazing, Marth.

The other print is also a Tate custom one, but I bought it a couple of years ago. It's Georgia O'Keeffe's Radiator Building - Night, New York.

And yes, those are John Lewis blinds, in one of their cheapest fabrics (cotton blend furnishing fabric). That colour is Flint, and I have a slightly lighter one, Smoke, in the master bedroom. I've been so pleased with them.

Thank you for the details Rosa! They do look perfect. I'm going to book appointment. George can finally say goodbye to the rabbit blinds

I picked up this sewing box from FB marketplace. I need something to hide all my craft crap in the lounge. It won’t stay next to the bookcase but there’s a mound of craft crap where it needs to go! :))

It has one removable tray. The enthusiastic side of me plans to tart it up a bit as it varies in colour but the realistic me knows I probably won’t!

That's a lovely interesting find, Cerise. I got a bog standard one for a few quid when I worked at the Hospice (they had staff jumblies) and painted it bright yellow. It still makes me happy.

Oh that’s lovely too!

Such a lucky find, I think. I offered £10 under asking and she agreed. And it was only 3 minutes from home.
