And "oblique views of the sea" and no photo of said view is setting my spidey senses off :puzz:
You see the sea for a brief, beautiful moment as you plummet to the pavement having leant far out over the edge of the roof terrace trying to catch a glimpse.

That is one hideous house. And yes, I'd love to know what the Air BnB listing says. The big house next door is the same looming grey exterior. Do we think they're the current owners and the "designers" maybe?

All bookings incur a £40 cleaning charge
I'd want a LOT more than that. :))

The black leather (?) on the bed makes me think of R Kelly. :boak:

Well found!
Plus the sexiest erotic library with literature by DH Lawrence, Anais Nin, Alan Hollinghurst, Erica Jong, Dylan Thomas and many more.
None of your 53 Shades nonsense here. :snooty:
The kitchen and living area are bright and airy, painted Farrow & Ball Almost Black (like the rest of the house), with beautiful black blinds to ensure privacy.
This sentence defines the word oxymoron.

I like the review which simply says "Great Chair" :mog:

It reminds me of a hotel we stayed at in Salvador - it was the only place available and we stayed one night. We refer to it as the porn hotel :mog:

Given that its in Brighton, I feel like it's probably fairly appropriate and there is probably a market for it. But that market is not us.

:mog: that’s amazingly awful and niche.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Even for Brighton I’m amazed there’s enough demand to zero in so specifically on a sex cave market. For weekends away before Hop I always looked specifically for two person places to stay as they often have a lot more character and personal touches than e.g. a bigger place for the same price, but I wouldn’t touch something like that with a barge pole.

I imagine it’s a fairly popular market! When I was in Japan I heard all about the love hotels there which are commonplace and very popular - you check in remotely to a themed room, and enjoy yourselves

(I once stayed in a hotel on a work trip where every room had a padded swing in it. My colleagues and Zi had some very amused conversations in the bar where we met for a drink after checking in :)) )
