I actually kind of love that house. It looks so strange from the outside but it’s so delightfully untouched and of it’s (deeply uncool) time.

I did a sharp intake of breath and didn't let go until the last photo!!! It's horrific 😂
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I also love it. Its so of its time. What a weird looking building though. No garden but 5 garages?

And I'm intrigued by this

Wow! That’s so amazing and so awful at the same time. I absolutely love/hate it.

Your fantasy property looks exactly like one of my dad's fantasy properties in Wales, Bats! I had to double-check where Lampeter was to make sure it wasn't the same one.

Yes!

I can imagine Jimmy Saville living there.

There’s an armchair next to the oven! That’s pretty much all I can say after that assault on the eyes.

The trouble with Lampeter is that some days it smells of crisps because of a nearby factory. And while that can be great, no one hangs their washing out on prawn cocktail day more than once.

I love so much about that Lytham's house but my particular favourites were the world's longest dressing table with multiple chairs and the tiles in the bathroom- I wouldn't even dream of changing those.

Maybe there's a seat for doing your hair, one for putting on make up, one for removing make up?

Handy insider knowledge there, Pip, thanks. :)) I'll go back to saving up for the £1.6M one on the Moray firth instead. :))

They've gone a bit far with the industrial chic here, the heavy industrial plant painted (?) onto the chimney breast, for instance :ella:!

Apart from the obvious, they’ve done one of my most hated things in decoration, which is mixed metal colours (the copper piping alongside the grey metal stove and pipe). It looks so slapdash.

There's a lot of metals happening, I agree. Too many brick slips too.

That's horrible, and I'm not averse to a bit of exposed brick.

I'm not either, actually, but it's just the hit and mix application of them. Do a whole section or don't bother!
