It does! It looks like an admin centre for murderers.

God it's hideous. There's a similar one near us that is massive but also has the addition of a lot of glass. It looks like a furniture showroom.

Exceptionally hideous. I appreciate it's not easy to divide up such a space in a habitable way, but that's why experts exist who are trained to do so. Winging it with a bit of plasterboard doesn't exactly cut it.

I don't think I've ever seen a good church conversion.
This one is pretty nice - I don't like too much of the interior design choices, but the conversion and use of space is stunning. Of course, being able to spend megabucks on those aspects undoubtedly helps...

A snip at 44 MILLION quid
. It is quite nice but my God, I'd buy something else with 44 million pounds.

I think it's aimed squarely at the oligarch market - "Just around the corner from Harrods, so convenient for your London pied a terre!"

I misread the zeros at first and thought it was £44k and that I could afford it.
I love that.
I saw a really nice one when we were looking for this place but it was converted into flats and the one for sale was a one bed and it was absolutely tiny. I was really tempted even so but very glad I went for a three bed house instead now. ;)

I love a converted chapel or a schoolhouse. One day I’ll buy one in Northern California
This one would do me though, it’s beautiful:

I'm still not a fan. I read an article about that one recently though! Apparently the Church sold it in 1998 for £1million. If ever there was a case for an overage clause that's a good one!

I’m not keen on the Wiltshire one :fussy: but the one in Knightsbridge is quite nice
I love that there is a link in the page for “financing options”

Did you do the calculation?
With a £13million deposit, it's only £120k a month!

I put in a deposit of £160000 & wondered why it was only saying nearly £48000 per month then I realised that’s interest only

Its obscene really. Most people spend 25 years, or the best part of it, chipping away at a 120k mortgage.

This seems like a totally normal house. A pretty large, redeveloped Queenslander in an affluent suburb. Then you get to picture 12. I have no idea why you would have that in your house!

I did an actual double take! That pokey little kitchen in the corner and all that space gone to waste!
