Our local agents are doing video tours and upload to YouTube days before the property appears on their website or Rightmove, Speedy.

A year, emmap?! That's flown! I think you moved while I was packing up our old house to relocate. We moved down here in August, but I guess that's only a few weeks away.

I don't think any of our local estate agents do YouTube. Some are sending out 360 tours before doing a physical viewing but the properties are already on their website/Rightmove Will check YouTube just in case though. Thanks Beena.

A year since we first viewed the house, Beena. We didn't have an offer on our house and I never thought we'd be able to get it! We only moved in a couple of weeks before lockdown. Worth the wait though!

That makes more sense, emma! I remember looking at photos of your new house last summer while I was surrounded with boxes. It didn't feel like a year since you moved though.

The agent's here are doing the same with the video tours; I just noticed that they've been adding new ones to whichever hosting platform as they make them, normally a couple of days before the house is marketed.

Still waiting here. We're likely too late for July now so 19th August has been mooted but there is still no movement up the chain so no agreement on dates. And now I see that the chancellor has announced a massive drop in Stamp Duty in the autumn which may cause other problems to pop up

The ones on the estate agents websites are exactly how you describe Chicky but I I think they send out the 360 ones on request round here. The photographer showed us our 360 when he'd finished but I haven't seen it online.
One of tonight's viewings has dropped out as his daughter has a cold and doesn't want to risk anything but we have another viewer on Wednesday then another Saturday morning.

He's guided us around a couple - in the flesh - and it's so difficult to hold it together.

The second of the viewers last we could tell would be in a rush. Just got to hope that whats his face does his thing with the stamp duty this afternoon and it prompts some people to put theirs on the market.

I would honestly consider the leaflet thing. If people knew how easily their house would sell in the current climate I bet a few would go for it. You have nothing to lose.

Great news Speedy! I think leafleting is a good idea too. Especially if the Stamp Duty threshold is changed. You could say on the leaflet that your house sold in 3 days or something, so people know the market is moving.
