Well done Cos, yes the system in England is excruciating.

We're having our survey done on our purchase tomorrow but still no news from our buyer. He's self-employed and the last we heard his accountant was going to provide a couple of final documents for his mortgage application. Since then nothing.
Our EA says they have an AIP and that depending on who his bank is, they might just do a drive-by valuation but it's all quiet. I'll give them until next Monday before I ask for another update.
I think for £4000 plus VAT the 'Sales Progressor' should be getting her finger out a bit more.

I haven't been counting but I think we accepted their offer at the end of June.

She is back now and has finally got hold of the freeholder's (very rude, apparently) solicitor on the phone. He has totally ignored the conveyancing timetable but has promised he is drafting the new lease now. His solicitor is just a cowboy.

It seems very unlikely I will sell the flat before Brexit/the end of the world now.

Sorry for everyone else experiencing slow coaches. People are very frustrating.

The only things that I want to change are some Beatrix Potter wallpaper in a bedroom and S would change the downstairs loo which has crazy Parisian themed wallpaper (I quite like it and Liv would love it
