 I can imagine! I did wonder at one point if I might inadvertently view your dad's house.

It is draining, and emotionally fraught sometimes. I feel such stress that it won't happen, but now feel grief at leaving London, who gave me such friends that I love, and family and such experiences that I could have only dreamed of when I was young in Dorset. I fully love London and feel that I belong and it's part of me, and it gave me all I needed in so many ways. My children are London born and bred, and I will be so sad to leave.
However I am so excited to be somewhere different and Bristol just feels so right, and I can't wait.

It's a bungalow in Weston super Mare, so I was fairly confident it wouldn't be on your list!

Bristol is full of people who have lived in London for some of their adult lives, so I hope it will feel like home very soon, but I can imagine it must be a huge wrench; you've had such an interesting life (so far; not writing you off :look: )

This is special. I've lived in this area my entire life and I've only seen it once  We stood by the wall and ogled it.

I'm probably a bit harsh on WSM, my in laws (well MIL and step FIL) live there and they love it. On a sunny day it's nice enough.

Please please send all the vibes that I exchange today.

Yesterday was very stressful with the buyers threatening to pull out, my sellers still needlessly holding on to stuff and me having a complete (polite yet obviously very annoyed) breakdown at everyone, and making it clear to the sellers that my priority was to protect my own sale. The outcome is hopefully exchange today.

Good luck Marth!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Deadlines. They were flexing their muscles to get things moving. (Which worked and I was grateful for really). They wanted to exchange last week and move on the 29th. As did I. Today is the last date they could exchange without buggering up their tenancy for a move on the 5th of feb. Their lender wants ten working days before completion.

Everyone knew these dates, my sellers knew this and had indicated they were fine to exchange last week and move on the 29th. They then ignored this and didn’t return paperwork and then said they could only move on the 5th due to work, So we were working towards today, but then they still didn’t get back to us with the replies to 2 very simple enquiries that they had for ten days already. After my breakdown the seller’s solicitor finally sent them to us at 3pm yesterday.
