The honest answer is, I don't know. They seem to do both bushy and climbing versions but I'm not actually sure they're different plants.

They're beautiful Shoe. I've joined a DA goup on FB :loser:
I learned about pegging shrub roses the other day Smal so you could try that.

What's pegging?! I checked it was suitable for a pot but thought it was a bush type. Oh well

I've just looked up pegging. The rude type. I shan't be doing THAT.

Re: Gardening plans for 2021?
I didn't know that either.
So the whole thing is that for shrubs anything vertical to the rose cane well produce more flowers if the vertical is 45 degrees or lower.
The easiest way I think to do it is to bend the vertical back in on itself in the direction of the main plant. Fountain effect I think it's called.

I didn’t know pegging was a gardening term! I shall add it to my loud chatting about edging next time the neighbors are out!

I can't picture gardening style pegging and I'm definitely not googling. I shall peruse Duo's link.

Re: Gardening plans for 2021?
I googled rose pegging, I don’t want to know about anything else!
I made an obelisk . And I’ve bought some baby sweet peas. Is it too early to plant them out? They look too big for the tiny pots but I’m not sure if it’s still too cold.

Sweet peas are pretty hardy and I think the frosts have stopped for now. You could always harden them off for a couple of days and take them in overnight, and pop em in after that if you're worried.

Thank you.
Hardy is good. The forecast says -1 here tonight so maybe I’ll do them tomorrow when it’s supposed to stay above freezing for a few days.
