Lovely pots!

Every spring I have a mental conversation with myself about an automatic watering system for all my pots and decide not to do it. And by end of June I regret it hugely.

The pots look fab, pov! I hate watering mine too I do rate the irrigatia solar watering system I have for my greenhouse, if that helps, cos!
I might do that to my shed.

More space! I think this will be sweetcorn corner. I need to move the bamboo, I think it's pushing the fence over.
I have a fancy barrow for the allotment, it flips up! Seems much easier than using a regular wheelbarrow for weeds/compost/plants. My face though I'm too pleased by this.

This is as far back as I am going with this bed for now. The weeds behind are tough (buttercups), so I think I'll need to attack them, and then stick weed suppressant down.

Buttercups were part of my flower delivery this week! They looked really nice.

I spent the afternoon tidying up, planting out some mini plant and doing more seeds to plug some gaps caused by cats digging.

At the moment, I have queensland blue winter squash, a yellow straightneck summer squash, and 10 butternut squash plants. Then a row of celery (i will regret this, I had spare seedlings though), then a row of parsnips. I've got maris piper and pink fir apple potatoes to go out, and 47 sweetcorn seeds germinating in the greenhouse. I've got three types of winter potatoes being delivered too. I've inherited an asparagus bed, and it's still just about in season! I also have way too many raspberries, and a weeny rhubarb.

I have a flower area just in front of the shed. I've left a sitting area, so this will mean I can gaze at flowers, rather than leeks that reminds me, I need to transfer some leeks down there!

Everything is just getting squished in as I clear space. I need to make a proper plan really, I think I'll do that over summer, so i can start autumn planting with some actual thought about it all!

Actual buttercups! I gave the flowers to my friend as we’re in Whitstable this week and the buttercups were her favourite too (the company’s photo, not mine!)

That all sounds very delicious, I hope you have an amazing harvest. I think we might try and grow some stuff next year, we’ve got some space behind the fence on the garden we could potentially make a bit of an allotment on but it’s just knowing what’s best to start with. I still feel a bit scarred from the year I grew 4677533 tomato plants and ended up with about 6 green tomatoes.

Beans and peas are usually pretty straightforward?
