Well spotted. I'm a big fan. I particularly like the dark green stuff, but when I bought one of the saffron oil jugs in a charity shop my aunt got wind of it and keeps buying me saffron items :)) Which are also nice.

That is a gorgeous kitchen, nince! It must feel so good to have your vision come to reality.

It's lovely! I am vicariously enjoying putting everything away neatly in their own organised spots. :love2: :l:

I think I overloaded the shelves or the screws weren’t long enough as one of them just started ominously creaking and the screws are coming out of the wall

Fml. Who knows if the builder will be willing to fix it. He asked me last night to lie to the council for him to get him out of a parking ticket (he wanted me to say I witnessed the “sequence of events” of him unloading stuff for my house while parked on double yellows back in May, but I was in Manchester at the time). I told him I was happy to say he was working on my house but I couldn’t lie and say I was there.

IT’S NEVER GOING TO END

Phew, I've spoken to the builder who is coming back to fix it. And I can also write a vague letter for him about the fact he was contracted to work on my house.

Thank you!

Things I am grateful for in this heatwave:

a) no longer having a boiling-hot lean to; b) no longer having a smelly open drain in said lean to; c) no longer having a soil vent pipe under my bathroom and office window emitting poo smells
