Re: Renovating Nince Towers
This shed (I have two) has gone and this attractive concrete patio is also going. Say hi to the local wildlife.

It's going to look so good when it's all done!!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

This is so exciting! Horrible concrete goodbye . It’s going to be fab, nine.
I too have very similar pictures of our repulsive lean-to and the mouldy shell where the ridiculously impractical kitchen used to be. Urgh.

That garden is going to be lovely!
My next door neighbours have covered almost their entire garden in illegal lean to, the most positive thing I can say about it is that the cats find it very useful as a raised walkway and sunbathing area. The pools of water that collect in the ridges add to the all-inclusive cat resort feel.

The local squirrels and cats loved to noisily run across my lean-to roof. On two occasions the cat pictured on the right lost its footing and did a comedy slide down the plastic roof before regaining her composure - which looked particularly funny from underneath.

I am SO EXCITED it is finally happening. And I can make it just how I want it (within budget restrictions).

The bare bones of your house are lovely and it’s going to look great when it’s finished.
Our first flat had an awful lean to as well and it was our first experience of one we were fully taken in by how useless it really was other than a damp, cold dumping ground.

This has got me reminiscing about how bad ours was. It was FREEZING. During particularly icy winters I would put off going into the kitchen because it was so cold. We lived like this for six years .

Re: Renovating Nince Towers
They put it in. I remember the horror of that day quite sharply. It is almost certainly without the proper permissions. I was at pains to explain to people viewing that they the neighbours are not drug growing gangsters but an elderly Chinese couple who are lovely and make a very nice cake.
