Oooh.

I picked two (2) courgettes this morning, they suddenly went from babies to need-to-pick-NOW-before-turn-into-tasteless-marrows overnight.

Oh exciting! I have two tiny courgettes down at the allotment, like acorn sized :)) I'll go down Sunday and they'll be enormous.

Oh my GOD. :love2: I never thought of/didn't realise they existed upright freezers, that would make better use of my limited garage space (for some reason someone sometimes thinks they should be able to get a car in there too??? :)) ).

All of beko's freezers work in room temps down to - 15c, so good for a garage!

My bike was so so heavy  potatoes, Broad beans, and venison fillet on the bbq tonight!

Oh my god, I am definitely coming round. Also you can give me a kamado lesson at the same time (I mistyped that as "lesion" which would be really quite different). I am practising hard but have a lot to learn.

Last weekend I was moving around live burning coals with my fire gloves* and heaving cast iron grates while J and his brother were sitting on the patio showing each other cute cat videos. Something is wrong here.

* they are my favourite thing! I set fire to the toaster the other day and just put on my fire gloves and picked out the flaming end of loaf like a superhero.

Keep an eye on gumtree for a cheapo garage upright freezer Goat (so much better than a chest one). I got mine for £25!

I can’t believe you didn’t know that those kind of freezers existed.

Monk is in charge of garden watering while I’m at Glastonbury so I expect to come home to marrows taking over the world.

The shallots  I really haven't thought this through, eh? I will dry some out, and attempt to store, I will pickle some, and I will peel and vacuum bag some for the freezer for plopping whole into stews.

That is some haul baa! I really envy all of you and your green fingers.

Can I ask you all with the knowledge a question? M is growing some fennel, can I use the friends while it is growing or do I need to wait until the bulb is ready & Harvey's the whole plant in one?

Amazing, baa!! I don't envy you peeling that many though, it's one of my most hated tasks! Come autumn you'll be so pleased with your past self though.

Definitely save some to have with oysters  And make some into blue cheese butter to have with steak :ready:

You might be able to nick a few, but if you take too many it'll cut down the photosynthesis. I am loving the typos! :))

I might have a green onion thumb this year, but the damn pigeons are pillaging the peas. There is always something that goes incredibly well, and something that goes incredibly badly.

Anyway, I did think snipping them might not be the best idea but Google wasn't helping.
