No, I don't want no Scrubs. Or do I?

Are the various Scrub Mummy / Daddy etc etc worth it? I currently use semi-worthy vegetable-based sponges with recycled plastic scouring side. They're fine, but probably something more robust would be better for cleaning. I don't think I need more for washing up but maybe I do?
Anyone succumbed to the scrub influencers? :))

Yes, I keep a Scrub Mommy (scouring on one side, sponge on the other) at the kitchen sink. I think it works really well, and is quite sturdy. Mostly I just like the smiley face though.
The Daddy was fine, but scrubby on both sides so basically can't multitask. :))

They are really good. Effective, long lasting and hygienic. But I would prefer a similar neutral coloured scrubber with no face :))

I find the scrubby side too hard and stiff

Even in warm water?
Emma, you can get dye-free ones that are greyish beige. With or without a face. :))

I love Scrub Mommy and she likes a trip in the dishwasher occasionally.

I have been a late adopter but have been impressed. I also only bought a scrub daddy in the first place as there was a Halloween Frankensteins monster one :marketable:

I had a quick fiddle when I saw them in Lidl and thought this might be the case.

I won't get them for washing up then, just for channelling AuriKaterina.
Currently I microwave sponges for hygiene, hadn't thought of the dishwasher

They’re supposed to soften in warm water. The scrub daddy at work softens up very quickly.

I've got eczema on my fingers (palm side) and my Scrub Mummy cut them when I was squeezing under water.
They are a no from me though I'm sure they are super scrubbable. Saying that I don't have anything I need to scrub that vigorously

I’ve never tried them. I’m might get a mummy to try.

I use yellow scubbits but they are a bit rubbish. I'm not sure I'd like a scrub mummy.

I have a mummy and a daddy and I think they're great. I have trouble getting the insides of my tea mugs completely clean but the mono-tasking daddy does the job!

I like the roundness of the mummy/daddy and stabbing their eyes to clean a mug or glass. They definitely last longer than other scrubby sponges.

I can't imagine not having anything to scrub! I guess I make a lot of veggie lasagnes and gratins though. I like those metal scourers for baking trays and I have old fashioned brillo pads too like my grandma and they're both 100% recyclable. The biodegradable scrubbers/sponges I've used were not that good.

What's the advantage of these sponges over the normal green/yellow ones?
