He's feeling guilt for causing you worry and bringing presents.

There definitely is. He's just rocked up with another one, and there is one wandering around the back yard seemingly without a care in the world.

I've drawn the curtains but will go out and lay some bait when sb1 gets here

Oh Marth noooo. I hope the bait does the trick.

Here my void has once again been glued to me after I was away for the weekend. He’s very sweet!

Butter wouldn't melt

Mo got another one and left it in the hatch area of the cat flap. He then proceeded to break in through the locked flap but thankfully stepped over the dead rat and left it where it was.

Seeing it slumped against the see through flap, framed by the surround was like having access to some macabre art.

Oh Marth

We've had a few tiny mice brought to us which C has got rid of but I couldn't cope with rats.

Oh god, Marth. Foggy was a nightmare for bringing things in. The worst was a live frog in the bedroom. He did finally seem to get the message that, if his hunting trophies weren't tasty enough for him to eat, we probably didn't want them either. :))

I've been increasingly concerned about the appearance of blue-coloured poo in the litter trays. I knew it could only be Bones, but i couldn't work out what on earth he'd been eating. The only thing that occurred to me was the rat poison that Rentokill use. It's exactly the same colour, but obviously wasn't that. Then, this morning, he puked up a whole wad of the stuff on the bathroom floor. I could now see that it was blue and green, and had a slightly rubbery consistency - which, at least, ruled out rat poison or plants. I wonder what on earth it could possibly be ... ?

This is what's left of my exercise mat!

He's eaten so much of it!! Wow!

My cats would always go to town ripping up exercise mats if they were left unrolled. They clearly liked getting their claws stuck into the rubbery material.

We finally had cuddles on the sofa the other night. It was a bit chilly, not enough for the heating, but enough for fluffy tops and a blanket. Of her own accord, she stayed here for about 45 minutes

Then one of us moved and she sprang away as though she had been shot

Ridiculous but elegant at the same time. Only cats can pull that off.

That's a very happy cat, Chicky! We've just bought a new basket for the cat – it's a bit small for him and generally he ignores anything that is bought specifically for him, but he loves it and spends the day squeezed into it.
