Poor little scrap! I hope he’s soon back to his full bolshy self.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

My ex's parents had a cat who liked to do roly-polys on the lawn. It was funny enough anyway (especially when the lawn had been mown and he came in more green than ginger) but the time I watched him roly-poly into the pond was one of the best days ever :mog: :mute: (Only his pride was hurt and it didn't stop his roly-polys.)

I hope Mungo is warm and dry and that his ego has recovered.

Oh, poor Mungo!
Our old cat once came home in a similar state and SunnyDad ran out to find out which neighbour (we lived in town at that time) had hosed him down. SD followed the wet paw prints and discovered that Whisky (the cat) must have fallen in the canal behind our house and at the cost of a few claws had managed to climb out (sodden) up the vertical wall of the canal. We subsequently found the claws stuck in the wall.
That was the second of his 9 lives that he lost.

But she's suddenly lost a lot of weight and seems very frail. I'm not sure dad really noticed as he sees her every day, but I have asked them to take her to the vet. They wouldn't be able to operate due to her age so I fear it may be the end of the road.
The cat has been to the vet and she's OK! They think she has had a stomach bug but she's drinking more again and the vet gave her an injection to give her more of an appetite. I still don't think she'll be around for much longer as she's pretty elderly but I'm pleased she's not in any pain or anything. As usual she tried to savage the vet.

Oh, savaging the vet is a good sign.

Took Ripley out on the canoe yesterday. She was so good.

Meanwhile Mr Cos keeps sending me pics of Spectrum on his lap to prove she's not being left out of the new puppy excitement.

Someone has discovered that the empty wine rack makes an excellent ladder.

I love the pup in a canoe. Did she not want to jump in the water?
Wine rack climbing means you are running low on wine!

She does want to jump in the water but is also very dubious about the water. Which is probably perfect normal.

I love the idea of canoeing with a dog

Tom decided to sit on MrW last night for a change. He spent the night giving me cat kisses and purring.

DOG IN A BOAT.

I'm not sure whether Tom or Mr W gave you cat kisses and purred at you all night, Wiggle, but either way - result.
